Run a program in Windows XP

Windows made with the purpose to open an application or program to start an activity. It's easy, we just need to click one of the programs that we want with the mouse. On view beginning windows we can see the start button located on the bottom left corner is the taskbar. The start button contains a menu-a menu of existing programs on our computers.There are several alternatives to start applications on the computer we use, i.e. using the Start button and using the Run command.
Start the program via the Start button
Here is an example to start programs on your computer.

1. Click the Start button from the Taskbar.

2. Select All programs. We will see a list of programs the subfolders contained on our computer.

3. Click the name of the program that we want to open, click on the option for example Microsoft Word.

4. The Program will open. After the program window appears, we can use the program.

Start the Program via the Run command

The following example steps to start a Program using the Run command.

1. Click the Start button, then select Run

2. when a contact on mencul alog, type place or the location and name of the program that we want to run in the text box or lack a collection of files using the Browse button. Let us try to open a Microsoft Word programs that are on theWindows

3. Click OK

4. Now that the program has been open

How to exit the Program

If we want to get out of a program, first we have to keep all the documents that we just do it, so that the document can we open again when we need it in the future. If we forget the store we usually would be kept in mind before we get out of the program.

To quit the program that is being run there is some way that we can use. However, a common step is using the Close button (X) in the upper right corner. Usually after we click the button Close contact will be displayed in the alog which gives the choice whether a document is saved or not. If you want stored click YES, if not click No. If you want to cancel to exit the application, choose Cancel.

Switching between programs

When we operate a specific application, we can operate the application program to another. We don't have to close the application that is being used when going to use another application program. So, at a time we can open some application programs.Look at the image below, seen the application key CorelDraw, Microsoft Word, and a Notepad on the Taskbar. To enable application programs that we do, click on the application in question.
